What we keep, why, and who it is shared with. No clauses buried anywhere.

Who is responsible

Prencha is the controller of the data we process to run the service. For anything on this page write to privacidad@muscle-lab.app.

What we keep

Only what the app needs to work:

  • Account: email, hashed password, display name, username and a profile photo if you upload one.
  • Training profile: goal, experience, days available, equipment, and any body measurements you log.
  • Training: sessions, exercises, sets, weights, reps, notes and routines.
  • Community: posts, comments, reactions, groups, challenges, badges and who you follow.
  • Technical: time zone, device identifier, open sessions and access logs used to catch abuse.

What we do not keep

We neither read nor write Apple Health. We do not ask for location, calendar or contacts. There is no advertising and there are no third party trackers, so there are no advertising identifiers either.

Payment details never reach us: the store charges you and tells us whether your plan is active.

What we use it for

To run the service, which is the legal basis for the processing: storing your sessions, computing stats, publishing what you choose to publish and billing the plan if you take it.

Also to keep the service standing: diagnosing failures, measuring system usage and stopping abuse.

Artificial intelligence

If you use the coach, we send a model provider the data that task needs: your training profile and the relevant sessions. If you log sets by voice, we send the audio to a transcription provider.

In both cases it travels without your email or your name. Those providers process it on our instructions and do not use it to train their models.

Who it is shared with

Nobody beyond what it takes to run this:

  • The infrastructure provider where the server runs and the database lives.
  • The language model and transcription providers, only for what is described above.
  • The subscription intermediary and the app stores, so we know whether your plan is active.
  • The service that sends account email.

What is public

Your username, your photo and what you post are visible to the rest of the community. Measurements, notes and sessions you do not publish are seen by nobody but you.

How long

As long as the account exists. When you delete it, we delete: sessions, routines, posts, comments and measurements really go, they are not flagged as hidden.

What survives deletion is the accounting record of a charge, because the law requires keeping it, and the moderation record of reported content.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correct it, take it with you, object to the processing or delete all of it. Most of that happens inside the app; for the rest write to the address above from the account email.

If you live in Uruguay, Law 18.331 covers you and you can complain to the Personal Data Regulatory and Control Unit.

Minors

The app is not meant for anyone under 16. If we find an account belonging to a minor, we delete it.

Changes

If any of this changes in a meaningful way, we say so inside the app before it takes effect.
